The 2025 Marucci CATX2 Composite USSSA Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat is meticulously designed for young athletes seeking top performance and comfort. Featuring a -10 drop and a 2 3/4" barrel, this bat represents a significant leap in bat technology, optimized for exceptional energy transfer and a superior hitting experience.

The two-piece composite construction delivers a longer barrel with a wider sweet spot, enhancing performance and allowing for more effective power. The mid-loaded barrel design, with a slight end-load, ensures effortless power without compromising swing speed, making it ideal for younger players looking to maximize their hitting potential.

The CATX2 Composite incorporates MDX Max Composite Construction, our most advanced multi-directional composite barrel design. This technology provides higher performance straight out of the wrapper and a faster break-in period. The Liquid-Gel System features patented anti-vibration technology in the knob and endcap, effectively reducing vibrations and creating a smooth, solid feel upon contact.

The OLS Connection design connects the barrel to the handle from the outside in, offering the stiffest connection available while eliminating virtually all vibrations. The S-20 Composite Handle is 20% less stiff than previous models, providing more whip and transferring less vibration on contact.

The ring-free barrel construction ensures more barrel flex and increased performance with no "dead" spots. The enhanced soft-touch grip, with a debossed pattern, delivers improved feel and control.

Certified by USSSA 1.15 BPF, the CATX2 Composite comes with a one-year warranty and is recommended for coach pitch leagues (ages 5-7). It is equipped with a standard white 1.75mm grip, though grip weight and manufacturing tolerances may cause slight deviations from the listed weight.
